Services for Gus Moore, 58, of 409 Glenwood St., who died of a heart ailment at his home Thursday, are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Home.

The Rev. Clarence Ferring, pastor of St. John's Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 p.m. Tuesday. The rosary will be recited there at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Moore was born June 12, 1910, in Durant, Miss., to Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Moore Sr.. and had resided in Waterloo for the past 24 years. He was formerly employed by the Viking Pump Co. of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by a brother.

He is survived by his widow, Parolee; his mother, Mrs. Mattie Cross of Durant; two sons, Gus Moore Jr. of St. Louis, MO.; and Herman Moore of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Miss Allie Moore of Milwaukee, Wis.; nine grandchildren; a brother and sister, Kenneth Moore Jr. and Mrs. Gertrude Young, both of St. Louis.
