Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Waterloo for Mrs. Mathilda Sharp, 84, a former resident of Waterloo. Mrs. Sharp had been amking her home recently with a daughter in Des Moines. She died there Sunday morning of complications of age.

Friends may call at the Oppold Funeral H0me after 12 noon Tuesday. Rosary services will be conducted at 7:30 and 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Oppold Funeral Home.

She was born Mathilda Schuster on September 12, 1882, at Gilbertville, the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth Gassman Schuster. She married William Sharp on Nov. 26, 1916, in Waterloo. He preceded her in death. For the past 9 years she has resided in Des Moines with her daughter. She was a member of St. Mary's of Nazareth Church, Des Moines; also the Rosary Society and of the Catholic Order of Foresters.

She is survived by two sons, Roger of 222 Gale St.; Donald of 341 Cutler St.; one daughter, Mrs. William Kupka with who she made her home is Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Frank Schuster, Kentland, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, eight brothers and sisters.
