WATERLOO - Irene Anna Wadsworth, 90, of Phoenix, formerly of Waterloo, died Saturday, May 13, 2000, at Paradise Valley Hospital, Phoenix of a heart attack.

She was born July 11, 1909, in Cannon City, Texas, daughter of Hugh and Margaret Berry Saul. She married John Jacobs in 1947 in Colorado. He preceded her in death She married Ray Wadsworth in 1972 in Phoenix. He died Jan. 20, 1992.

Mrs. Wadsworth attended nurses training and had worked as a nurse for many years.

Survived by a brother, Perry Saul of Waterloo; and a sister, Marguerite Pontious of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by four brothers: Neal, Tom, Hugh and Alvin Saul; and two sisters, Violet Utsler and Mildred Moss.

Memorial services will be later, with internment in National Memorial Cemetery, Phoenix. Arizona Aftercare Crematory, Phoenix, is in charge of arrangements.
