WATERLOO — Edna R. Jessen, 94, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Allen Hospital.

She was born Aug. 20, 1918, in Oneida, Delaware County, daughter of Frank Edward and Ella Louise Boyd Lucas. She married Everett Harvey Jessen on March 18, 1939, in Dysart. He died Aug. 26, 1993. Mr. Jessen was a homemaker and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Survived by: a daughter, Lori (William) Wilson of Waterloo; a son, Edward (Colleen) of Dunkerton; and four grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: two sisters, Ethel Lucas and Dorothy Cunningham; and a brother, Henry Lucas.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday and an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.
