HUDSON — Margaret Irene Williams, 88, of Hudson, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at NewAldaya Lifescapes, Cedar Falls.

She was born Aug. 10, 1924, in Poweshiek County, daughter of William and Marie Petersen Miller. She married Harold Edward Williams on June 12, 1945, in Melbourne. He died Nov. 13, 1992.

Mrs. Williams graduated from Melbourne High School 1941. She was housekeeper and companion to LeRoy and Jeanette Brasch for many years. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Hudson, Hudson AMVETS Auxiliary and Red Hat Ladies.

Survived by two daughters, Elma (Daryl) Ingamells of Hudson and Becky (Robert) DeJaegher of East Moline, Ill.; two sons, Harold of Urbandale and Wilbur (Janet) of Hudson; nine grandchildren: Michael (Sara) Ingamells, Diane (Mark) Kocovsky, Tanya (Alan) Ruden, Heather (David) Proehl, Angie (John) Rieck, Amy Seyffer, Christopher Williams, Jessica (Christopher) Snitker and Whitney Williams; two stepgrandchildren, Amber Roberson and Lewis DeJaegher; 10 great-grandchildren, Marah, Meghan and Ryan Kocovsky, Blake and Madison Ingamells, Crystal, Sierra and Tony Ruden, and Elsie and Henry Rieck; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and two sisters, Wilma Smith of Gilman and Helen (Robert) Renaud of Grinnell.

Preceded in death by a grandson, Mathew Ingamells; and three sisters, Ruth Charlier, Letha Scott and Dorothy Lanning.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hudson United Methodist Church, with burial in Hudson Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo.
