CEDAR FALLS - Rev. C. A. Stub, 83, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Saturday of an apparent heart attack at a Minneapolis, Minn., nursing home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fredsville Lutheran Church west of Cedar Falls, with burial in the church cemetery.

He was bom Feb. 26, 1891, at Elk Horn, the son of Svend and Maren Andersen Stub. He married Anna Juhl April 3, 1921, in Minneapolis. He was pastor of churches in Ringstead, Greenville. Mich., and was pastor of the Fredsville Lutheran Church at the time of his retirement.

Survivors include a son, Holger, of Philadelphia, Pa.; a daughter, Miss Helen Stub, of Minneapolis; and a brother, Svegder, of Milwaukee, Wis.

Friends may call at the Dalh-VanHove-Schoof Funeral Home until noon Tuesday and from 1 p.m. until service time, at the church.
