EVANSDALE—Services for Robert B. Bartz, 67, of 537 First St., will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Waterloo with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Bartz died at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.

He was born Nov. 18, 1915, at Waterloo,son of Fred and Mildred Stewart Bartz.

He married Mary Kathleen Bertch Dec. 30, 193fi, at Bethany, Mo. She died in October 1972. He married Margie Hilton June 30, 1973, at Lansing. She died in September 1973. He and Shirley Lee Johnson were married Feb. 7, 1976, at Waterloo. He had been employed as a diesel mechanic at John Deere Tractor Works for 31 years, retiring in November 1973.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert F. Bartz of 216 Gunner Road, Waterloo, and David E. Bartz of 2408 W. Fourth St., Cedar Falls; a stepson, Verl "Skip" Johnson of 582 Pioneer Road, Waterloo; two daughters, Karen Hatton of 3837 Paige Road, Waterloo, and Nancy Ott of 321 Joanne St., Cedar Falls; two brothers, Fred Bartz of Sherrard, Ill., and Ralph Bartz of Campbell, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren.

Friends may call at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel after 5 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The casket will not be open Wednesday. The Loyal Order of the Moose will conduct services at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund or to the church.
