Services and burial for Michael R. Scully, 46, of Missenden, Bucks, England, formerly of Waterloo, were being planned for this week in Missenden. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Edward's Catholic Church. He died Friday in Missenden after a lengthy illness.

He was born March 3, 1942, son of William G. and Virginia Scully. He was a graduate of West High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force before moving to England.

While in Waterloo he was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone and was a supervisor at the John Deere Component Works.

Survivors include his wife, Pam; two sons, Michael Jr. and Mark; two daughters, Michelle and Amanda; his parents of Cedar Falls; two brothers, William Jr. and Timothy; and two sisters, Sharon and Patricia St. John.

Memorials may be made to the Hospice unit of Covenant Medical Center. Donations will be accepted at the church or may be mailed directly to Covenant.
