Floss Moser

Floss was born September 3, 1925, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Charles F. and Lillian D. (Gunstead) Cutshall. She graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1943. On June 30, 1931, she was united in marriage to Freeman W. Moser Jr. at Walnut St. Baptist Church in Waterloo. She and her husband operated Freeman's Cafe for 25 years. She was a member of Cedar Heights Baptist Church.

Survived by her husband, Freeman of Cedar Falls; daughters, Jan (Greg) Crespi of Dallas, TX and Jill (Steve) Mathey of Cedar Rapids, IA; son, Freeman W. (Gwen) Moser III; five grandchildren, Mandy Scally of Cedar Falls, Tiffany Scally of Iowa City, Scott Crespi of Dallas, TX, Abigayle Moser of Ames and Freeman E. Moser IV of Ames; sister, Beryl Berntsen of Edina, MN and brothers, Louis Cutshall of Cedar Falls and Paul Cutshall of Minneapolis, MN.

Floss died Thursday, December 18, 2003, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Cutshall.

Memorial services will occur at a later date
