CEDAR FALLS - Marilyn H. Squires, 70, of Blue Springs, Mo., formerly of Cedar Falls, died at home Thursday, June 9, 2005.

She was born July 24, 1934, in Manchester, daughter of Martin and Elsie Timmerman Moser. She married Thomas R. Hawker and he preceded her in death. She later married Harold Squires.

Mrs. Squires was an accounts payable clerk for John Deere, and was chairman of the Busy Fingers Quilters for more than four years.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Lynne (Michael) Pierce of Cedar Falls, Jill (Brad) Howell of Basehor, Kan., and Angela (Scott) Trowbridge of Independence, Mo.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Larrry Moser of Leaf River, Ill.; two sisters, Karron Wands of Independence, Mo., and Beverly Harris of Blue Springs; two stepbrothers; and two stepsisters.

Preceded in death by a stepbrother.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Timothy Lutheran Church, Blue Springs. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Webb-Freer Funeral Home, Blue Springs.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home, with inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.
