CEDAR FALLS - Virginia Eleanore "Gin" Gabriel, 49, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, May 13, 2006, at her home of a coronary artery disease.

She was born Nov. 15, 1956, in Sumurta, Indonesia, daughter of Staats "Ben" and Kitty Samuels Gabriel.

She graduated from Villa Park High School, Villa Park, Calif., in 1973. She worked at College Square Hy-Vee for several years.

Survived by two daughters, Tamara Kirby and Samantha Kirby, both of Cedar Falls; a grandson; her father, Ben (Helma) Gabriel of Murietta, Calif.; two sisters, Sietske (Dale) Wilson of Riverside, Calif., and Karin Dreyer of Noblesville, Ind.; three brothers: Michael (Jeanine) Gabriel of Simi Valley, Calif., Paul "Timmy" (Michele) Gabriel of Chino, Calif., and Rodney (Tammie) Gabriel of Temple City, Calif.

Preceded in death by her mother, Kitty Gabriel.

Memorial services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Richardson Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.
