WATERLOO - Robert L. "Bob" Osgood, 84 of Waterloo, died Monday, April 26, at ManorCare Health Services of natural causes.

He was born April 26, 1920, in Waterloo, son of Ercy "Roy" and Mabel Stannard Osgood. He married Bernice Long Sept 13,1941, in Independence. Mr. Osgood was employed at Rath Packing Co. retiring in 1979.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jerry (Bonnie) of Morrison, Colo., and Jim (Mary Jane) of Waterloo; three grandsons: Kevin (Linda) Osgood of Palm Desert, Calif, Matt Osgood of Grimes and Michael Osgood of Waterloo; two granddaughters, Sherry Wolfe of Watertown, S.D., and Denise Osgood of Waterloo; seven great-grandchildren: Kailey, Hannah and Bronwyn Osgood, Chesney and Devon Ball and Jacob and Sam Tudor.

Preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Harold and Kenneth.

Services: 11 am. Thursday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Granip Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with inurnment in the Garden of Memories. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m today and for an hour before services Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Parkinson's Foundation or Cedar Valley Hospice.
