Lawrence, the year-old child of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Briggs, died at their home at 1216 East Fourth Street yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock, death being due to spinal meningitis. The child was born at Marshalltown February 20, 1906, being just one year and twenty-nine days old when death, called. He had been sick less than a week.

His death is a sad loss to his parents, who have the sympathy of many friends at this time.
