William T. Clark, 76, of 4304 Rownd St., Cedar Falls, formerly a resident of Waterloo for 48 years, died Monday afternoon at his home of a coronary attack.

Funeral services tentatively are set for 2 p.m. Friday at the Calvary United Methodist Church. Friends may call at the Chapel of Memories West after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

For many years Mr. Clark was employed by the city of Waterloo, retiring in 1960. He was a member of the Municipal Laborers Local 1127.

He was born on March 26, 1893, the son of Samuel G. and Elizabeth J. Cox Clark at Independence. He attended the Independence schools.

Mr. Clark entered military service on June 29, 1916, and served with the Rainbow division through the campaigns of World War I. He was honorably discharged as a private first class from Company B, 168th Infantry on May 16, 1919. He married Clara Kruger on Nov. 27, 1919. They resided at 1340 Newell St. until 1967. Since that time he has made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Fern Atwood of 4304 Rownd Street.

His wife died on February 8, 1969. He is survived by three sons: Duane Clark of 804 Kern Street; James of Phoenix, Arizona; and Roger of 410 Vinton Street; two daughters, Mrs. Fern Atwood, 4304 Rownd Street, Cedar falls, and Mrs. Robert Hild of 1525 Easton Avenue; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, five brothers, two sisters and two great-grandchildren.

Services for William T. Clark, 76, of 4304 Rownd St., Cedar Falls, will be at 2 p. m. Friday at Calvary United Methodist Church, Waterloo.

The Rev. John H. McFarland, pastor of Graves United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories. Military rites will be by the Guy W. Iverson Amve Post 49 of Cedar Falls.

Mr. Clark died Monday at his home of a coronary attack. He was a former Waterloo resident and worked for the City of Wa terloo for many years. He retired in 1960.

Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West until noon Friday when the casket will be taken to the church.
