WATERLOO - Ronald E. Brousseau, 35, of Waterloo, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, at his home of complications of cancer.

He was born June 5, 1970, in Waterloo, son of Joel L. and Bonita "Bonnie" Makowsky Brousseau. Ron was a siding contractor and had attended the Iowa School for the Deaf in Council Bluffs and was working on a degree from Hamilton's College in computer science.

He is survived by a son, Brian Brousseau of Charles City; his mother and stepfather, Bonnie and Ralph Burch of Waterloo; his father and stepmother, Joel and Wanda Brousseau of Orlando, Fla.; maternal grandmother, Betty Makowsky of Waterloo; paternal grandmother, Sara Bast of Evansdale; two brothers, Bob Brousseau and Bill (Tammy) Brousseau, and a sister, Jennie Burch, all of Waterloo; two nephews, Stephen Quail and Kyle Gardner; a niece, Brittany Brousseau; and his friend, Melissa Lancaster of Waterloo,

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at the Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until service time Wednesday.

Inurnment will take place at a later date.
