WATERLOO—Warren W. "Joseph" Moore, 83, of Waterloo, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center of natural causes.

He was bom July 11, 1916, in Eleva, Wis., son of Horace and Carrie Phillips Moore. He married Gwendolyn Rosemary Baker July 11, 1938, in Durand, Wis.; she died July 29, 1987.

Mr. Moore worked in product control for B.F. Goodrich and Uniroyal in Los Angeles and then worked as a security guard for John Deere in Waterloo, retiring after 26 years.

Survived by a brother, Chadwick of Bonnevilie, Wash.; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a daughter, "Denise" Darlene Mathern; a son, David; a sister, Bonnie Crist; and seven brothers.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball Avenue, with burial in Buckingham Cemetery, Traer. Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
