Services for Sarah Brown, 70, of the Americana Healthcare Center formerly of 921 Walnut St., will be noon Saturday at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in East St. Louis, Ill., with burial at Sunset Garden of Memories Cemetery there. She died Monday at St. Francis Hospital.

She was born July 22, 1911, at Baton Rouge, La., daughter of Sam and Fanme Mitchell Elmore. She married Walter Brown Aug. 20, 1934, in Arkansas. He died in 1976.

Survivors include two brothers, George L. Moore of East St. Louis, Ill., and Sam L. Moore of Frias Point, Miss.

There will be no public visitation. Flowers or memorials may be sent to Officer Funeral Home, 2114 Missouri Ave., East St. Louis, Ill. Chapel East Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements.
