CEDAR FALLS, IOWA - Norma Jean Meyer, 81, of Tripoli, formerly of Cedar Falls died Monday, December 24, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

She was born November 27, 1926, in Mitchell County, Iowa, the daughter of William and Maybell (Jeffries) Schultz. On November 26, 1948, she was united in marriage to Orval D. Meyer. They were later divorced. She was employed at the University of Northern Iowa as a custodian in Noreen Hall retiring in 1992.

Survived by two sons, Larry (Lori) Meyer and Jerry Merry, both of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Sandra (LeRoy) McFadden of Tripoli, Jackie (Larry) Hoskins of Cedar Falls, and Cindy (Scott) Barker of Waterloo; eighteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; step mother, Verna Lindley of Iowa.

Preceded in death by step father Lee Lindley; five brothers, Karl "Scoop", Harrison "Harry", Hilbert "Hilly", Howard, and Harold Schultz; and one sister, Arlene Rosenburg; and one great granddaughter.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls.
