WATERLOO — Larry Harbaugh, 64, of Portland, Ore., formerly of Waterloo, died from melanoma Feb. 21, 2013.

He was born Oct. 12, 1948, son of Merlin and Melba Harbaugh. He married Anna Lynn Freitas in 1981.

Mr. Harbaugh graduated from Orange School in 1966 and from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in 1970. He spent most of his adult life in Portland, working in sales, marketing and management with Abby, Apria and Providence Home Health Services.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Elizabeth Howells of Portland; a son, Jonathan of Portland; a grandson; his father of Waterloo; two sisters, Carolyn Bellfy and Diane Sittig, both of Waterloo; and a brother, Dennis of Waterloo.

Services were Feb. 26 in Portland.
