David F. Greenberg, 82, former Waterloo businessman, died recently at his home in Hollywood, F!a.

He was born Sept. 10, 1891. He owned and operated Brooks, a women's ready-to-wear shop in the 100 block of East Fourth Street for many years and was active in the Waterloo Chamber of Commerce.

Greenberg was president of the B'nai B'rith Council of Eastern Iowa in 1945.

He is survived by his wife, Fannie, and a brother, Murray, of Florida.

Services for Mr. Greenberg, who moved from here about 20 years ago, were conducted in Hollywood.
