CEDAR FALLS - Marion Richard, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, May 6, 1997, at Sartori Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

She was born Aug. 29, 1905, in Waterloo, daughter of Carl and Ella B. Bishop Stirm. She married Lester Richard on Oct. 4,1940, in Waterloo.

Survived by two daughters, Barbara Hahn and Betsy Polston, both of Waterloo; a son, Loren Murphy of Mason City; 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ila Miller of Greene.

Preceded in death by her husband; four brothers; and a sister.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, Dumont, with burial in Dumont Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
