Services for Icey Perkins, 78, formerly of 305 Sumner St., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Antioch Baptist Church with burial in the Garden of Memories.

Mrs. Perkins died Thursday afternoon at the Parkview Gardens Care Center.

She was born Feb. 7, 1905 in Louisville, Miss., daughter of Eli and Dosha Dorris Austin. She married Henry Bolden in Louisville, Miss. He died in 1953. She married Claude Perkins Sr. March 5, 1955, in Waterloo. She owned and operated the Oneida Street Grocery Store for 15 years.

Survivors are a daughter, Anita Brewer of 2210 Thunderidge Blvd., Cedar Falls; five stepsons: Rev. William. Perkins, Ronald Perkins and Claude Perkins, Jr., all of Waterloo, Don Perkins of Albuquerque, N. M., and Paul Perkins of Duluth, Minn.; three stepdaughters: Dorothy Perkins, Gwendolyn Shauf and Beverly Cook, all of Waterloo; two brothers, Tiny Austin of 134 Lincoln and Eli Austin, Sr. of 701 Ricker St.; and two sisters, Mrs. Leora Barnett of the Black Hawk County Care Center and Mrs. Annis Fuller of Denver, Colo.

Friends may call at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel from 3 p .m. to 9 p. m. Tuesday.

Family will receive friends at the home of Tiny Austin.
