HUDSON — Lois Irene Cook, 63, of Hudson, formerly of Lone Tree, died at home Tuesday May 20, 2002, of cancer.

She was bora Sept. 1, 1938, in Iowa City, daughter of Daris and Irene Mincer Forbes.

She married James R. Cook on Feb. 9,1957, in Moline, Illinois. He died May 6, 1997.

Survivors include two sons, Randy of Hudson and Allen of Harbor City, Calif; a daughter, Wendy Bishop of Hudson; her mother of Lone Tree; four grandchildren; four brothers, Gerald and Lowell Forbes, both of Lone Tree, and Keith and Loren Forbes, both of Iowa City

Preceded in death by a son, Darnel.

Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Hudson Community Church, with burial in Hudson Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, Waterloo, and for an hour before services Friday at the church.
