Public Masonic services for Delbert Willard Rowling, 72, of 527 E. Park Ave. will be 10 a.m. Friday in the Memorial Chapel of Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Rowling died Wednesday morning at Schoitz Memorial Hospital. Waterloo Lodge 105 A.F.&A.M. will open lodge at 9:15 a.m. Friday to conduct Masonic services. There will no visitation, and the body has been cremated. Kearns-Dykeman Chapel is in charge of arfangements.

Those wishing may contribute to the building fund of the Trinity Episcopal Church. A private family service will follow the Masonic services.

Mr Rowling was born in Waterloo on March 13, 1906, the son of Clayton and Abbie Bradley owling. He married Lucile Oliver on Nov. 16. 1929, in Waterloo.

Mr. Rowling was employed by the U.S. government, first with the War Production Board and then for the Small Business Administration as an appraiser 10 years prior to his retirement in 1971. After his retirement, he was administrator for the Black Hawk County Zoning Commission. Mr. Rowling was a charter member of the El Mecca Shrine Club.

He is survived by his wife, a son. Douglas of Green Bay, Wis., and four grandchilren.
