Frances Brown

Services for Frances Brown, 77, of 1609 Mount Carmel Drive, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Union Missionary Church with burial in Shaulis Road Cemetery.

Mrs. Brown died Monday at Allen Memorial Hospital.

She was born on December 19, 1906, at Sallis, Mississippi, the daughter of Nels and Katie Evans Sandford. She married Elige Brown in December of 1929 in Attalla County, Mississippi. He died in 1981.

Survivors include three sons, Walter L. Brown, Percy L. Brown Sr. and Jimmy Holiday, all of Waterloo; four daughters, Mrs. Elsie Head, Mrs Minnie B. Newman, Mrs. Helen Brown and Frances L. Brown, all of Waterloo; 29 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Sarah C. Brown and Beryle Lee Brown.

Friends may call at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday. Memorials may be given to Union Missionary Church.
