CEDAR FALLS - Lynold F. Boehmke, 92, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2005, at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Center.

He was born April 30, 1913, in Keystone, son of William and Anna Kramer Boehmke. He married Thelma Criswell on Aug. 25, 1935, in Keystone. She died Sept. 1, 1973. He married Ann Reed in December of 1977. She died July 5, 2002.

Mr. Boehmke farmed near Keystone until 1950 and then near Arlington until 1968. He worked at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works from 1957 until retiring in 1978.

Survivors include a son, Duane (Sylvia) Boehmke of Denver, Iowa; a stepdaughter, Marjorie (Duane) Getty of Richardson, Texas; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a great-great-granddaughter, three stepgrandchildren, six stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers, Bob (Ruby) of Walford and Bill (Carolyn) of Big Bear Lake, Calif.; and three sisters: Wilma Linn of Anamosa, Arlene Behrens-Titler of Center Point, and Dorothy (Leonard) Franzenburg-Brecht of Blairstown.

Preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Fred and Ray; a grandson, Brad Boehmke; a brother, Walter; and a sister, Olive Kramer.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Waterloo, with burial at 1:15 p.m. in Garrison Cemetery, Garrison. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
