EVERETTE C. WATSON

Services are pending for Everette C. Watson, 68, of Maywood, Calif., formerly of Waterloo, who died in Los Angeles Tuesday of emphysema.

He was born April 30, 1905, in Bremer County, the son Mr. and Mrs. Morse Watson.

He married Kathryn McVey in Waverly. and the couple resided in Waterloo after their marriage. He was an employee of Waterloo public schools until his retirement, when he moved to Maywood, Calif.

He is survived by his wife, Maywood, Calif.; two sons, Norman, Charles City, and Clinton, 928 Lafayette St.; four stepdaughters: Mrs. Art Henriksen of Maywood, Calif., Mrs. Harlan Kammeyer of 712 Home Park Blvd., Mrs. Harry Fairbanks of 4035 Richland Dr., and Mrs. Gary Lee of 438 Campbell Ave.: his mother, Mrs. Zella Watson, Rt. 1, Cedar Falls; one sister, Mrs. Mable Cleaves, San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Raymond of Spearfish, S. D., and Wendell. Rt. 1, Cedar Falls; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, and one sister.

Locke Funeral Home is in charge.

Services for Everette C. Watson, 68. formerly of Waterloo, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home, the Rev. Ernest Matson. pastor of Cedarloo Evangelical Covenent Church, officiating. Burial will be in Poyner Township Cemetery.

Mr. Watson died in Los Angeles, Calif., Tuesday of emphysema. He had lived in Maywood, Calif., after his retirement from the Waterloo Public School system.

Friends may call at Locke Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
