WATERLOO — Gwendolen M. Livingston, 90, of 3720 Village Place, died Sunday, April 4, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center after a brief illness

She was born Dec. 19, 1908, in Clay works, daughter of Robert M. and Esther Dolbeck Herrick. She married Kenneth Livingston in Minnesota. He died March 17, 1977.

Mrs. Livingston graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1931 and taught in Northwest Iowa for several years.

Survived by a son, Robert of Waterloo; eight grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Charlene Grove of Minneapolis.

Preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Amundson.

Family services will take place at a later date in Spencer, with inurnment in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer. There will be no visitation. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
