Services for Raymond Burt White, 65, of 2201 Regal St., will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Wesleyan Church.

He died at 9:45 p.m. Friday at St. Francis Hospital. Cause of death will be determined by an autopsy. Friends may call at Kearns-Dykeman Chapel after 7 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. White was born Nov. 13, 1910, in Viola, son of James and Emma Staley White. He married Ethel Spooner Geary July 7, 1936, at Charles City.

He was employed at Rath Packing Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1972. He served in the Army during World War II with the 1637th Engineer Construction Battalion from August 14, 1943, to Dec. 27, 1945.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Stella J. Thomas of 1733 E. Ridgeway Ave.; three brothers: Dale of 2203 Regal St., Scott of 257 Randall Ave., Evansdale, and Fred of Independence; and three sisters: Mrs. Fay Graves of Independence, Mrs. Amanda Sampica of 238 Maple St., and Mrs. Carrie Irons of 1617 Garden Ave.
