Services for George Caltvedt, 66, of 129 Rhey St. will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the First Lutheran Church with burial at Garden of Memories.

Mr. Caltvedt died at Allen Memorial Hospital at 5:40 p.m. Friday of complications of an extended illness.

He was born Sept. 6, 1909, in McCallsburg, the son of Tygo and Emma Caltvedt. He married Cora Mehus Sept. 9, 1933, in Roland. He worked for Rath Packing Company as a millwright for 33 years before retiring last year.

Survivors are his wife; a son, George Charles Caltvedt of Winthrop; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Emerson of Denver and Mrs. Darwin Plung of Hastings, Minn.; three brothers: Selmar of Gary, Ind., Leonard of McKinney, Tex., and Johnny of McCallsburg; four sisters, Mrs. Harold Elliott of Harlington, Tex., Mrs Albert Ausdal of Marshalltown, Mrs. Roy Sieverson of Jewell and Mrs. Jimmie Stone of Nevada.

Friends may call at Chapel of Memories West until 9 a.m. Monday and at the church for one hour before services.
