WATERLOO — James L. “Jim” Fleshner, 68, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Waterloo, died Monday, March 4, following a long illness.

He was born March 31, 1944, in Waverly, and he married Shirley Card.

He graduated from Waverly-Shell Rock High School. Mr. Fleshner was a long time employee of Terex (formerly Bantam Co.), Waverly.

Survived by: his wife; two sons, Tony of Waterloo and Billy of Sioux Falls S.D.; a daughter, Marcy of Mesa; four sisters, Beverly (Gary) Folkerts of Clarksville, Kathy Fleshner and Cheryl Fleshner, both of Waverly, and Brenda (Robert) Everts of Parkersburg.

Preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Annetta Hartema Fleshner.

Private services will be held at Garden of Memories in July.
