DIED

Mrs. L. B. Corwin died at her home in Union Township, Saturday morning at 5 o'clock after an illness of one week. Her death was mainly due to grippe.

Deceased was born in Ohio and married in Cedar County, Iowa, forty-two years ago; was 60 years of age at the time of her death.

She leaves a husband and twelve children, nine boys and three girls, all grown; five sons and two daughters being married.

She was a faithful mother and wife, greatly devoted to the best interests of her family.

Funeral services were held at the residence at 1 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Mason of Shell Rock preaching an interesting sermon. A large concourse of neighbors followed to the grave.
