MRS. GEORGE FINK

Funeral services have been tentatively set for Wednesday at the First Lutheran Church for Mrs. George Fink, 86, of 210 Linden Ave., who died Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at Allen Memorial Hospital following a stroke. She had been a patient there for the past six days.

Mrs. Fink was born Mary Widdel, March 1, 1874, in Bennington Township, the daughter of Christ and Julia Faust Widdel.

She was married to George Fink at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bennington Township March 3, 1892. She had been a resident of Waterloo since 1918, and a member of the First Lutheran Church since that time.

Survivors include two sons, Ed Fink, of 210 Linden Ave., with whom she made her home since her husband died in 1950, and Walter Fink, of 135 Dearborn Ave.; two daughters, Mrs. Lena Reints of St. Clair Shores, Mich., and Mrs. Alice Mapes, of 1125 Bertch Ave.; four sisters: Mrs. Carrie Haase of Algona, Mrs. Bertha Weisbrod of Fairmont, Minn., and Mrs. Annie Bovers and Mrs. Minnie Weisbrod, both of Fenton; two brothers, Edward Widdel of Glendale, Calif and Harry Widdel of Armstrong; nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, husband, one brother, one daughter and one grandson.

Friends wishing may contribute memorials to the debt retirement fund of the First Lutheran Church. The body is at the O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home.
