WILKS, RIDINGS, ANDREWS, OVERTON, TAYLOR

Harold Wilks, 1624 Logan Avenue, for 29 years a resident of Waterloo, died at 5:45 a. m. Thursday at his home of a complication of diseases. He had been in poor health for about seven years. He was 60 years old.

A native of England, he was born in Stockport May 14, 1881, the son of Edward and Mary Wilks. On Aug. 11, 1903, he married Lily Ridings in England, and in 1912 they came to the United States, settling in Waterloo. Mr. Wilks was a plasterer.

Surviving besides the widow are a daughter. Mrs. Ralph Andrews 225 Charles Street: a sister. Mrs. Robert Overton. 325 Oliver Street, and another sister and three brothers living in England: Mrs. Nancy Taylor and Sidney, Frank and Collins Wilks. There are also three grandchildren.

Mr. Wilks was a member of local 225 of the Plasterers International union.

The body was taken to Kearns Garden Chapel.
