WATERLOO, IOWA - Larry C. Morse, 87, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, February 26, at Allen Hospital, of natural causes.

He was born April 10, 1925, in Kyle, South Dakota, son of Morris Has NoHorses and Ethel Chipps. He married Anna Boesen on October 20, 1959, in Galena, Illinois.

Mr. Morse served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper during the Korean Conflict. He was employed at John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works as a forklift driver for 30 years, retiring in 1982.

Larry is survived by his wife; two daughters, Cheryl (Bill) Morse-Federspiel of La Porte City and Lori (William Lindaman) Swallow of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Matthew (Kerri) Derifield, Crystal (Loren Brocka) Anderson, Vance (Ali) Swallow, Amanda (Bear) Swallow and R.T. Mundfrom; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Art Has NoHorses Sr. of Sturgis, South Dakota; and two sisters, Ramona Means of Gordon, Nebraska, and Althea (Wayne) Doodson of Providence, R.I.

He was preceded in death by a son, Lyle Bald Eagle; two sisters, Charity Shot With Arrow and Roselyn Has NoHorses; and a brother, Morris Has NoHorses, Jr.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, at Garden View Chapel, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in South Dakota at a later date. His body has been cremated.
