Mrs. Charlotte L. Landfear
Graveside services for Mrs. Charlotte L. Landfear, 90, of Park Towers Apartments, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Landfear died Wednesday at Allen Memorial Hosptial and the body was cremeated.
She was born June 28, 1889, in Independence, the daughter of Edgar and Sarah Frederick Chesley. She married Harry E. Netcott June 17, 1917, and he died in 1929. She married Wayne R. Landfear in 1939 and he died in 1963.
She worked in the Black Hawk County Treasuer's Office for 15 years, was an election board judge, and a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary here.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jean Cox of 1721 Cornwall Ave.; two stepsons, Victor Netcott, of Naples, Florida; and Dean Landfear, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ruth Schultz; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren .
O'Keefe & Towne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
