STROKE FATAL TO BENJAMIN TITUS

Paralysis Close Life of 91-Year Old Resident;
Burial Will Be at Aurora, Iowa, Thursday.

Benjamin J. Titus, age 91 years, died at 10:30 a.m. today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. M. Pressnall, 311, Norwood Street. He suffered a stroke Feb 2, previous to which he had been in good health.

Mr. Titus was born Dec. 15, 1831, in Canada. When his mother died soon afterward he was brought to the United States and reared by his grandparents in Ohio. About 40 years ago he came to Iowa and operated a farm in Buchanan County. In 1912 he came to Waterloo, making his home with children here.

Surviving are two sons and three daughters. They are: John A., Marion, Iowa; Fred A. and Mrs. F. E. Correy, Independence, Iowa; Mrs. Pressnall and Miss Lenore Titus, Waterloo.

The body will be at Hileman & Gindt Chapel until Thursday, when it will be taken to Aurora, Iowa, for burial.
