Funeral for Mrs. Ruth Pressnall, 37, of 311 Norwood Avenue, widow of Ben T. Pressnall, who died Monday afternoon in Allen Memorial Hospital, of a heart aliment, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Parrott & Wood chapel by Rev. E. W. Walls, pastor of the Free Methodist Church. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Ruth E. Adams was born September 26, 1902 in Waterloo. Her parents Robert and Bertha Adams, are now both dead. Miss Adams was graduated from East High School in 1919 and later worked in the law office of Sager, Sweet and Edwards. She also was employed by Frank Edwards when he was county attorney, from 1927 to 1929.

Miss Adams also worked for two years in the war department at Washington D. C. She was married to Ben T. Pressnall in Waterloo June 15, 1929. Pressnall a disabled World War Veteran, died September 7, 1939.

Mrs. Pressnall was a life member of the Free Methodist Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She made her home with mother-in-law Mrs. J. M. Pressnall and Mrs. Lenore Titus, an aunt of Mrs. Pressnall.

Surviving are three aunts, Mrs. Hattie Johnson of Burlington Iowa, Mrs. Ida Lamphear and Mrs. Jessie Gruver both of 709 Kern Street; also several cousins.
