EVANSDALE — Kenneth Raymond Turner, 91, of Evansdale, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center, Waterloo.

He was born April 21, 1921, in Garwin, son of Ray and Flossie Black Turner. He married Joyce Leask, and they later divorced. In 1970 he married Mary Milota, and they later divorced.

Mr. Turner attended school in the Marshalltown area and served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a glazier for 35 years, installing commercial glass and aluminum. He then retired and became a self-employed siding installer. He was a member of Evansdale AMVETS.

Survived by two sons, Pat (Judy) of Elk Run Heights and Ken of Arizona; a daughter, Phyllis (Ron) Nordman of Waterloo; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Darrell (Glenda) of Prairie City.

Preceded in death by a brother, Lyle; and two sisters, Katherine and Norma.

Private family services: will be held at a later date, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Parrott & Wood Chapel of Memories, an Overton Family Service, Waterloo, is assisting the family.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice Compasses.

Kenneth loved to fish and spend time with his family.
