CEDAR FALLS — Geraldine “Jerri” Hummel, 91, of Mallard Point Retirement Residence, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Sartori Memorial Hospital

She was born Aug. 13, 1921, in Waterloo, daughter of Frank and Sarah Adams Lemley. She married Jack P. Hummel July 13, 1965, in Anaheim, Calif. He died Sep. 20, 2012.

Mrs. Hummel graduated from West High School in 1942 She worked as a tool crib manager at L. M. Cox, a radio-controlled airplane manufacturer, in Santa Ana, Calif.

She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Parish.

Survived by two sons, Robert of Evansdale and William (Constance) of Red Rock, Ariz.; two stepsons, Jack (Terri) Jr. of Ocean Shore, Wash., and James (Peggy) of Woodinville, Wash.; a grandson; three stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Preceded by three brothers: Lloyd, Bill and Paul Lemley; and two sisters, Pearl Bunce and Julia Willhite.

Services: There will be no service; her body has been cremated. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery. Locke Funeral Home, Waterloo, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial fund will be established.
