CEDAR FALLS — Victor J. Schima, 95, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Sunny View Care Center, Ankeny.

He was born on the family farm on Aug. 21, 1917, son of Victor and Libby Schima. He married Dorothy Mesecher on Oct. 24, 1943, in Waterloo.

Mr. Schima worked for Rath Packing Co., Waterloo, in the feed division, retiring in 1975.

Survived by his wife; and a daughter Margie.

Preceded in death by four brothers: Leo, Irvin, Joe and Ernest; and six sisters, Rose, Dorothy, Marie, Irene, Amelia and Regina.

Services: 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Services of Iowa funeral home, 4208 N. Ankeny Blvd., Ankeny, preceded by an hour of visitation, with burial in Ankeny Memorial Gardens.
