Services for Clifford H. Isley, 85, of Cedar Falls, will be 1 p.m. today at United Church of Christ with the Rev. Raymond Birkner officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. He died at 10:05 p.m. Friday at Sartori Hospital.

He was born November 12, 1897, in La Motte, the son of Gilbert and Anna (Thompson) Isley.

He married Hellen Granger on August 28, 1919 in Nashua. They farmed for 39 years in the Cedar Falls area. In 1960 they moved to Cedar Falls and he became involved in the insurance business. He retired in 1966 due to ill health. He was a member of the American Legion Post 327 and Odd Fellows.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one brother.

Survivors include his wife; three sons: Donald of Seattle, Washington, Rollin of Cedar Falls and Gilbert of Hadley, Minnesota; one daughter, Marilyn VanSant of Cedar Falls; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Friends may call until 10:30 a.m. today at the Dahl-VanHove-Schoof Funeral Home and for one hour before the services at the church.

Memorials may be given to the church or to the Odd Fellows.
