Mrs. Alice L. Gill, 71, formerly of 1543 Cedar Terrace Drive, died at the Woodlawn Convalescent home at about 7 a.m. Sunday of complications of her age.

She was born on February 28, 1897, in Waterloo, the daughter of Isadore and Katherine Behner Beener. She was married in Waterloo in 1915 to James Ezra Gill.

Mrs. Gill is survived by two sons, Robert and John Gill both of Delmar, and five daughters: Mrs. Wesley Hammer of Wilton Junction, Mrs. Frank Landis of 1318 Knoll Ave., Mrs. Melvin Remetch of Sacramento, California, Mrs. Lawrence Williams of Sacramento, California and Mrs. Herman Daguss of 1543 Cedar Terrace Drive, 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three daughters, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. Msgr. E. J. O'Hagan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. There will be a parish Rosary at 8 p.m. Monday at the O'Keefe & Town Funeral Home.
