Michele Elaine Zummak, 65, of Cedar Falls, died at her home on Wednesday, March 18, 2009. She was born December 12, 1943 in Waterloo, the daughter of Fredrick and Maxine (Combs) Volker.

Michele graduated from West High School in Waterloo in 1962. She worked for Viking Pump Manufacturing.

Michele is survived by one son, Christopher (Terri) Zummak, of Cedar Falls and one daughter, Allison (Jeff) Bunger, of Evansdale; three grandchildren, Levie Zummak, Ashley Zummak and Nichole Shonk; one great grandchild, Jessie; one brother, Kim (Debbie) Volker, of Lansing, Iowa, and a special friend, Patricia Sommer, of Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son, and one brother, Rick Volker.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2009, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with visitation one hour before service. Inurnment will be at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.
