Marjorie F. Fink, 88, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, March 14, 2009, at the Cedar Falls Healthcare Center. She was born March 12, 1921 in Aurelia, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Mabel (Mongan) Bell.

Marjorie married David Smith on September 3, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana, and they later divorced. She married Leslie H. Fink on November 4, 1950 in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death on March 18, 2005.

Survivors include her son, Rex (Bonnie) Smith, of Largo, Florida; eight grandchildren, Stewart (Audrey) Smith, Shannon Smith, Sally Jones, Sindy Welch, Darrell D. Essen, Jr., Margie (Jerome) St. John, Tessia Mathes, and Tracy Smith; ten great grandchildren, Tyson Smith & Emma Ball, Vaughn Smith, Kirsten Jones & Thomas Wall, Chelsea Smith, Cody Nehring, Keya Smith, Rebecca St. John, Nathan Mathes, Jessica Smith, and Amanda Smith; two great great grandchildren, Adeline Rose Smith and Draven Thomas Wall; a brother, Dwayne Bell, and a sister, Gertrude Iddings, both of Phoenix, Arizona.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a great grandchild, Melissa Mathes.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 21, 2009, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be one hour before the service.
