Rosalie Hilda Boone, age 93, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Cedar Falls Health Care Center.

She was born July 30, 1915 in Denver, Iowa, the daughter of William and Ann (Weideman) Meyer. She married George Boone on August 2, 1939 in Artesian, Iowa. He died in 1960.

Mrs. Boone worked at the Rath Packing Co. in Waterloo and cleaned homes. She attended College Hill Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls.

Survivors include a son, Stephen (Sheri) Boone of Denver, Iowa; two grandchildren: Michelle Boone of Traer and Travis Boone of Waterloo and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sisters, Laura and Melva Meyer and a brother, Clarence Meyer.

Committal Services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, October 6, 2008 at Garden View Chapel with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be directed to College Hill Lutheran Church, 2322 Olive Street, Cedar Falls, IA 50613.
