MRS. SUSAN BLOES

Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Bloes, widow of Nicholas Bloes, who died at 9:15 a.m. today at her home in Gilbertville, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church, Gilbertville, conducted by the pastor, Rev. W. J. Cremer

Mrs. Bloes had lived in Fox and Poyner Townships for about 50 years. She was 73 years old, having been born June 9, 1856, in Germany and having come to America with her parents when a young girl. Her maiden name was Susan Phillips. She had lived for 18 years in Gilbertville, and previously had lived on a farm four miles east of that place

Mr. Bloes died Sept. 11, 1925.

Surviving are the following children: Frank, George and Joseph N., in Fox Township; Peter, Gilbertville; Nicholas, Ashton. la.; Mrs. Tressa Bussey, Waterloo. Mary Bloes another daughter, died at Ashton in 1926. Her daughter, Rosella, a granddaughter of Mrs. Bloes, also survives.
