LA PORTE CITY, IOWA - Calvin D. Boldt, 82, of Dysart, formerly of La Porte City, died Friday, July 18, 2008, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, of natural causes.

He was born December 10, 1925, in Tama County, Iowa, the son of Henry and Edith Bradley Boldt. He was a farm hand for various farmers in the La Porte City and Dysart area.

Survived by a sister, Donna Troutwine of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Riggle and Arlen Robbins.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the La Porte City Funeral Home, with burial in West View Cemetery. Pulbic visitation for an hour before services Tuesday at the funeral home.
