JAMES J. P. BROWN

Funeral services for James J. P. Brown, 49, of 418 Adams St. will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. C. I. Jordan, assistant pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Brown died at St. Francis Hospital Sunday of cancer.

He was bom Jan. 24, 1924, in Sanatorium, Miss., the son of Tom and Ella Brown.

He is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Hudson of 418 Adams St., Mrs. Essie Mae Walker of 520 Oneida St.,
Mrs. Fanny L. Anthony of 512 N. Barclay St. and Mrs. Ella Pearl Hollaway of 231 Ricker St.; and four brothers, Tom Brown of 1716 E. Fourth St., Ray Brown of 1716 E. Fourth St., Mack Brown of 439 Adams St. and W. 0. Brown of Chicago, Ill.

Preceding him in death were his parents, four sisters and two brothers.

Friends may call at Chapel of Memories East after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
