WATERLOO — Kenneth D. Kramer, 68, of Waterloo, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013,at Covenant Medical Center of an aneurysm.

He was born Aug. 14, 1944, in Lawrence, Kan., son of August and Elise Morgan Kramer. He married Linda Jean DeCamp on Jan. 30, 1966, and they later divorced. He married Charmaine Johnson on May 21, 1994.

He graduated from Hugoton High School and received a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Kansas University. Mr. Kramer was a mechanical engineer at John Deere Product Engineering Center for 29 years, retiring in 1999. He was a member of Cedar Valley Community Church, Cedar Valley Big Band, Supervisors Club and Promise Keepers.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Rita (Brian) Goodling of Carlisle, Pa.; a son, Jay (Alla) of Vero Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Jennifer and Anthony Kramer; and two brothers, Richard (Wanda) of Amarillo, Texas, and Jim (Shirley) of Hugoton, Kan.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Don.

Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Fellowship Church, Cedar Falls, with inurnment at Hudson Cemetery following cremation. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home.

Memorials in lieu of flowers, may be directed to Holy Spirit Led Ministries.
